Orchid Fragrance & Fresh Flavour
Appearance & Taste
The Yellow Mountain Fur Peak leaf is slender and slightly curly, resembling a bird’s tongue. It is green with a touch of yellow.
Since the picking time of this special tea corresponds to the time when orchids on the Yellow Mountain are in full bloom, it has a delicate orchid fragrance and a very fresh flavour. It has a very clean and fresh taste, just like smelling the beginning of the spring.

Brewing Guide
Recommend using Mid-Drop (what’s this?) menthod or Bottom-Drop method for brewing the tea.
Mid-Drop Method:
- Warm the teaware with hot water. Discard the water afterwards
- Pour hot water (80–85°C) into the teaware until it is one-third full
- Add 2 teaspoons of tea for tea cup/gaiwan (125ML), 4 teaspoons for glass (250ML) and 8 teaspoons for tea pot (500ML)
- Tilt the teaware, slowly rotating it two times (this is to ensure a better infusion)
- Fill the teaware with hot water (80–85°C)
- Infuse tea for around 1-2 minutes, if using gaiwan gongfu, the first brew can be around 10s, the second time is around 20s, then gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing
- Drink until 1/3 of the tea is left before refilling
- Can be brewed a total of 3 times
- Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brews.
Bottom-Drop Method:
- Warm the teaware with hot water. Discard the water afterwards
- Add 2 teaspoons of tea for tea cup/gaiwan (125ML), 4 teaspoons for glass (250ML) and 8 teaspoons for tea pot (500ML)
- Pour hot water (80–85°C) into the teaware until it is one-third full
- Tilt the glass cup, slowly rotating it two times (this is to ensure a better infusion)
- Pour hot water (80–85°C) into the teaware until it is seven-tenths full
- Infuse tea for around 1-2 minutes, if using gaiwan gongfu, the first brew can be around 10s, the second time is around 20s, then gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brewing
- Drink until 1/3 of the tea is left before refilling
- Repeat a total of three times
- Gradually increase steeping time for subsequent brews.
Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) area, Anhui province
Origin
Yellow Mountain Fur Peak grows at latitude 30°08 North in the Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) area, Anhui province. Geology and geomorphology, mineral resources, species and hydrologic climate are very diverse and complex in this area. It is located at the transition between the subtropical and temperate zones, where there is rich precipitation and lush vegetation.
In addition to the humid climate, soft soil, smooth drainage and other natural conditions common to the region in general, the Huangshan area has its own characteristics, such as high mountains and deep valleys, which conceal hundreds of small streams as well as rich paintings and woods. Such conditions promote the growth of tea trees with fat and juicy leaves, which can be enjoyed across multiple brews.

Delicate aroma and flavor. The leaves were whole and beautiful color with a fresh scent before brewing. Once brewed the tea ‘soup’ was very light in color but big in flavor, with complex tastes.
