Alishan Oolong tea is a typical tea of Taiwan High Mountain teas, produced in the Da Ali Mountain area of Jiayi County. This premium grade Taiwan Alishan tea comes from the tea garden where the sea level is around 1000 to 1600 metres. This premium oolong tea is handmade.
There are two types of Alishan Oolong Tea: Jinxuan and Qingxin Oolong Tea. Our typical premium Alishan Oolong Tea is a premium level of Jinxuan Oolong Tea.
The dry tea leaves are hemispherical in shape, tight and knotted. Their colour is between dark and yellowish green. The tea soup is honey golden.
The taste is mellower than a normal Alishan Oolong. It’s also rich in milky aroma. Combined with a fruity and floral aroma, it also contains high mountain charm. The tea feels smooth in the mouth, with an elegant, delicate and long-lasting aroma.

The Da Ali Mountain area is famous not only for its scenery but also for its tea. This premium grade Taiwan Alishan tea comes from the tea garden where the sea level is around 1000 to 1600 metres. The tea produced there is regarded as the best oolong tea in Taiwan. The reason is that the climate is cold, surrounded by clouds and fog in the morning and at night, and the average daytime is short. All these mean that the bitter substances in tea buds and leaves reduce while the sweeter flavours increase. Furthermore, due to the large temperature differences between day and night, the tea tree grows slowly, which leads to thicker layers of mesophyll in the tea leaves and higher pectin content. This gives Alishan Oolong Tea a long-lasting sweet taste. Many tea trees here are also irrigated with mountain spring water, that’s why Alishan Oolong Tea also has a very special, cold mountain aroma.

This premium Tieguanyin was made using the most traditional method, called Zhenwei in Chinese, which performs the firing right after the shaking procedure. The entire tea making process was completed no later than the morning of the day after shaking. The taste of the tea is very delicate but mellow, with a long-lasting aftertaste.
Tieguanyin oolong Tea was first produced in 1725–1735 by a local tea farmer in Anxi County, Fujian province. It has a high content of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, polyphenols and alkaloids. It also contains various nutrients and medicinal substances. Its unique mellow aroma makes it a favourite of many.
Our premium Anxi Ti Kwan Yin is cultivated in the core producing area in inner Anxi County which has the most nutritious soil type – acidic red soil and made by the tea master who has almost half a century’s tea making experience.
Samples LeftOur Clear-Fragrance-Style Anxi Tieguanyin Tea is full of attractive flavour, compared with other Tieguanyin, the aroma of it is more high-scented. It uses the Xiaoqing fermentation method, i.e. fixation takes place on the afternoon of the day after shaking. Shaking time is less than with the Zhengwei method, meaning relatively little stem water spreads into the leaves; fermentation is also relatively light.

Wuyi Shui Xian is another very famous Wuyi Rock tea expect Wuyi Big Red Robe (Da Hong Pao). It is produced in the Wuyi Mountain area in Fujian Province. This tea is baked with medium fire by experienced tea master.
Our standard Wuyi Shui Xian Oolong tea comes from ‘Ban Yan’ tea plantation where located beyond the core scenic spot of Wuyi Mountain but still inside the scenic area. There are three kinds of Shui Xian Tea Tree which includes ordinary Shui Xian whose age is not over 30 years, Gao Cong Shui Xian who normally has 30 to 60 year’s history and Lao Cong Shui Xian which is the oldest tea tree over 60 years’ old. In order to offer affordable but still has very impressive delicious taste’s Wuyi Shui Xian, we pick one of the ‘Lao Cong Shui Xian’ whose age is over 60 years but less than 100 years’ old. Although it is not old enough to have the very special charming part of centurial or millennial Shui Xian, but you can feel a little bit of ‘Lao Cong’ from this Shui Xian Oolong tea.
Phoenix Dan Cong Ju Duo Zai is a rare species of Phoenix Dan Cong grown in the Feng Huang Village located in Chao’an district, Chaozhou city, Guangdong province. Its fresh tea leaves look like a saw, called ‘Ju Duo’ in the Chaozhou dialect. Therefore it is named ‘Ju Duo Zai’ (small saw).
Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong is a very special category of Oolong tea produced from the Chao’an district in Chaozhou city Guangdong province, well-known by its aggressive rich aroma. The reason why it is named ‘phoenix’ is that it comes from Phoenix Mountain in Phoenix Village. Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong has 79 kinds of different natural flower flavours, 12 kinds of natural fruit aroma, and 16 kinds of other fragrances such as honey, cinnamon, almond, sweet-scented Osmanthus and yulan so on. Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong also has 80 different breeding lines such as Ba Xian, Ju Duo Zai and so on.
Phoenix Dan Cong Oolong is rich in amino acids, vitamins, tea polyphenols and alkaloids. Its tea polyphenols, specifically, have a strong anti-radiation effect, can reach up to 30% in Phoenix Oolong tea.
Because of its rich and overwhelming aroma, Phoenix Dan Cong nowadays has the same and very high reputation as Anxi Ti Kwan Yin and Wuyi Rock tea (such as Wuyi Big Red Robe) in China. These three different oolong teas become the major Chinese Oolong Tea strains.
