About Yunnan Jinggu Silver Needle

Yunnan Jinggu Silver Needle comes from high-mountain tea gardens at around 2200 metres in Jinggu, Pu’er, Yunnan Province. The misty environment and large day-night temperature difference provide excellent growing conditions, allowing the leaves to develop rich internal character and a distinctive high-mountain profile. The tea trees in this region are mainly Yunnan large-leaf varieties with thick, vigorous buds, giving Jinggu white tea a style that combines elegance with depth.

This tea is carefully hand-picked, and each silver needle is slender and refined, covered in soft white down that shimmers gently in the light.

Appearance & Taste

Yunnan Jinggu Silver Needle

The dry leaves consist mainly of plump buds with dense silver hairs and a silver-white colour with hints of pale green. After brewing, the buds slowly unfurl, revealing thick, tender leaves full of vitality.

The liquor is clear and bright with a smooth, delicate texture. The first sip is fresh and sweet with prominent downy aroma, light floral notes, and the refreshing herbal character typical of sun-dried white tea. As the tea develops, honey-like sweetness and soft fruity notes emerge, leading to a long, clean, and gently sweet finish.
