正山小种红茶是世界上最早的红茶，也被称为红茶的鼻祖，已有400多年的历史，可以追溯到明朝中后期。它是由居住在福建省武夷山的当地茶农发明的。后来在正山小种的基础上发展了工夫红茶。历史上该茶以星村为集散地，故又称星村小种。鸦片战争后，帝国主义入侵，国内外茶叶市场竞争激烈，出现正山茶与外山茶之争，正山含有正统之意，因此得名。桐木关是武夷山国家级自然保护区的核心区，是红茶的最初的产地。如今，真正来自桐木关的茶叶已经非常少了，虽然我们的这款正山小种不是来自桐木关茶场，但它仍然是由武夷山自然保护区内的茶园生产的。如果您想购买来自于桐木关的正山小种，请移步至正山小种（等级A）。
这款正山小种产于武夷山自然保护区。武夷自然保护区内地势高峻，96.3%的森林覆盖率，其主要的产茶区平均海拔均在1200米左右，120天的年均雾日，11-18℃的年平均气温，2000毫米左右的年均降水量，平均湿度为80%，4.5-5的土壤PH值，30-90厘米的土壤厚度。 属于典型的亚热带季风气候。这里，就是正山小种生长的生态环境。

The longan flavour is so pronounced! Sweet, floral, almost like biting into the fresh fruit itself. None of that harsh smokiness you sometimes get with these black teas. Absolutely gorgeous with a touch of honey.
