正山小种红茶是世界上最早的紅茶，也被稱為紅茶的鼻祖，已有400多年的歷史，可以追溯到明朝中後期。它是由居住在福建省武夷山的當地茶農發明的。後來在正山小種的基礎上發展了工夫紅茶。歷史上該茶以星村為集散地，故又稱星村小種。鴉片戰爭後，帝國主義入侵，國內外茶葉市場競爭激烈，出現正山茶與外山茶之爭，正山含有正統之意，因此得名。桐木關是武夷山國家級自然保護區的核心區，是紅茶的最初的產地。如今，真正來自桐木關的茶葉已經非常少了，雖然我們的這款正山小種不是來自桐木關茶場，但它仍然是由武夷山自然保護區內的茶園生產的。如果您想購買來自於桐木關的正山小種，請移步至正山小種（等級A） 。
這款正山小種產於武夷山自然保護區。武夷自然保護區內地勢高峻，96.3%的森林覆蓋率，其主要的產茶區平均海拔均在1200米左右，120天的年均霧日，11-18℃的年平均氣溫，2000毫米左右的年均降水量，平均濕度為80%，4.5-5的土壤PH值，30-90厘米的土壤厚度。屬於典型的亞熱帶季風氣候。這裡，就是正山小種生長的生態環境。

The longan flavour is so pronounced! Sweet, floral, almost like biting into the fresh fruit itself. None of that harsh smokiness you sometimes get with these black teas. Absolutely gorgeous with a touch of honey.
