本茶產自雲南南部高海拔山區,地處雲貴高原邊緣地帶,平均海拔約一千六百米。此地山勢綿延、溪流縱橫,終年雲霧繚繞,晝夜溫差大,為大葉種茶樹提供了理想的生長環境。
茶園周圍原始森林密布,林木參天,孕育豐富的生物多樣性。茶樹散生其間,與古木、苔蘚、蕨類共生共榮,汲取山泉之潤與林土之氣,造就茶葉獨特的山野韻味。土壤以紅壤與腐殖質土為主,富含有機礦物成分,使茶湯甜潤飽滿、層次分明。
產地: 雲南

春季採一芽一葉或一芽兩葉,芽頭肥壯、內含物質豐富。鮮葉經輕萎凋、揉捻與適度發酵,全程由制茶師憑經驗掌控火候,最終以文火烘乾,使香氣凝聚、條索烏潤。成茶層次清晰,凝結了高山生態與手工工藝的自然之味。

Tasted like breathing in mountain air. There’s this wild, almost feral quality to it that you don’t get from plantation teas. Honey sweetness, yes, but also something green and alive. The kind of tea that makes you slow down and pay attention.

As soon as you open the packet, the aroma hits you! To me it has a very strong grapefruit aroma, and maybe also peach. Like nothing I’ve had from tea without added flavours before!
I would be interested to taste what it is like with a little bit of sugar (sacrelige!), to see if the sugar brings out the fruity flavours like it does with quality earl grey…
Anyway, this impressive aroma is carried into the tea liquor (some teas I find the aroma does not come across).
There is also a rich flavour and a silky texture.
