本茶产自云南南部高海拔山区,地处云贵高原边缘地带,平均海拔约一千六百米。这里山势绵延、溪流纵横,终年云雾缭绕,昼夜温差大,为大叶种茶树提供了理想的生态环境。
茶园周围原始森林密布,林木参天,蕴含丰富的生物多样性。茶树散生其间,与古木、苔藓、蕨类共生共荣,吸取山泉之润与林土之气,造就茶叶独特的山野韵味。土壤以红壤与腐殖质土为主,富含有机矿物成分,使茶汤甜润饱满,层次分明。
产地: 云南

春季采一芽一叶或一芽两叶,芽头肥壮、内含物质丰富。鲜叶经轻萎凋、揉捻与适度发酵,全程由制茶师凭经验掌控火候,最终以文火烘干,使香气凝聚、条索乌润。成茶层次清晰,凝结了高山生态与手工工艺的自然之味。

Tasted like breathing in mountain air. There’s this wild, almost feral quality to it that you don’t get from plantation teas. Honey sweetness, yes, but also something green and alive. The kind of tea that makes you slow down and pay attention.

As soon as you open the packet, the aroma hits you! To me it has a very strong grapefruit aroma, and maybe also peach. Like nothing I’ve had from tea without added flavours before!
I would be interested to taste what it is like with a little bit of sugar (sacrelige!), to see if the sugar brings out the fruity flavours like it does with quality earl grey…
Anyway, this impressive aroma is carried into the tea liquor (some teas I find the aroma does not come across).
There is also a rich flavour and a silky texture.
