這款現代松煙香正山小種產自武夷山自然保護區的高山生態茶園，以武夷山本地優質小葉種為原料，採春季一芽一葉，嫩度高、香氣清透。
由於武夷山對馬尾松實行嚴格保護，傳統明火松木直燻的方式已難再大規模使用，現代制茶轉而採用自然枯落松枝、間接煙道和過濾煙氣的環保工藝，使松香得以保留，同時避免資源消耗與濃烈刺激的煙味。在低溫慢焙中，松木香以更柔和的方式緩慢滲入茶葉纖維，不焦不膩，呈現輕盈純淨的松煙香氣。制茶師以「輕火透香」的技術，使煙香如薄霧般附著茶體，與茶本身的花香、蜜香相互交織，風味更顯細膩乾淨。
註：傳統馬尾松明火燻焙受到保護林木限制與環保要求，因此現代正山小種多以自然落枝、間接煙道與控溫焙制替代，使香氣更純淨，同時減少對生態的影響。
這款正山小種產自福建省武夷山市自然保護區生態茶區，地處武夷山脈高海拔山谷之中，雲霧繚繞、氣候濕潤、晝夜溫差大，造就了茶樹豐富的內含物質與獨特的山韻。土壤富含腐殖質與礦物質，植被覆蓋率高，為茶樹提供了天然蔭蔽與優越的生態環境。正是在這樣純淨而複雜的山林生態中，孕育出茶湯金紅透亮、香氣層次豐富的武夷山紅茶。

這款輕煙味正山小種採製於春季頭採期，約在三月下旬至四月初。選取一芽一葉的早春嫩梢，葉質細膩而筋骨分明。如此嫩度的原料少用於煙焙，需精準火候方能不焦不烈。
焙火以自然枯落松木枝幹為熱源，採用間接煙道、低溫緩焙，使熱流與輕煙緩緩透入葉體，煙香溫潤不嗆、不壓本香。其後多輪小火復焙與靜置養茶，使水分與香氣重新平衡，煙與蜜自然交融。
