這款2016年宮廷普洱熟茶茶餅是以雲南大葉種曬青毛茶為原料製作而成。由中國雲南西雙版納勐海縣的壁茗茶廠製作生產。宮廷普洱茶是雲南著名的勐海茶廠生產的普洱茶之一，屬於普洱茶熟茶。它是由野生大葉茶樹最嫩的葉尖製成的。當時的皇家普洱只有皇室可以享用，是身份的象徵。 《本草綱目拾遺》記載：“普洱茶味苦性刻，解油膩牛羊毒……苦澀，逐痰下氣，刮腸通洩。”清朝滿族祖先原本是中國東北地區的游牧民族，以肉食為主，入關稱帝后養尊處優，飲食珍饈無所不盡其極，故那些皇親國戚們獨青睞普洱。普洱茶成為宮廷皇族的最青睞的御用飲品。
普洱熟茶，是以雲南大葉種曬青毛茶為原料，經過渥堆發酵等工藝加工而成的茶。色澤褐紅，滋味純和，具有獨特的陳香。我們的普洱茶產於勐海地區。勐海縣是著名的普洱茶產地，也是中國最早的茶葉產地，分佈著星羅棋布的古茶樹群。這裡最古老的野生茶樹“茶樹王”可以追溯到1700年前，從這些老樹上採摘的葉子被稱為“野生喬木”。這裡的氣候屬熱帶、亞熱帶西南季風氣候，冬無嚴寒，夏無酷暑。年溫差小，日溫差大。按海拔高度可分為北部熱帶、亞熱帶和亞熱帶氣候區。年平均氣溫18.7℃，年平均日照2088小時，年平均降雨量1341毫米，年霜凍期32天左右。勐海常年大霧瀰漫，年平均霧日約為107 ~ 160天。該地區土壤深厚，透氣性好，肥沃，微酸性土壤排水能力較好，類型包括紅壤、黃壤、紅壤，PH值在4 ~ 6之間。這些得天獨厚的自然條件為普洱茶提供了最適宜的種植環境。
